Becci Sutcliffe

At school, Becci had a love for numbers and a need to keep her brain active and so upon leaving she entered a career within financial services but quickly realised that being behind a computer for 9 hours a day with little human contact wasn’t for her. So, she made the decision to pursue a career that would channel her more creative side and allow her to do something else she loved…helping people and making them smile. In a completely different world to finance, Becci embarked on her journey into the Hair, Beauty and Aesthetics industry and after working within a salon for many years made the decision to start her own business allowing her more time to be at home with her youngest son.

10 successful years, another son, a daughter and many life experiences later it was time for a change, a new challenge! “I loved my job and my clients and the feeling of helping them and being a part of their wedding days and other big life events, but I had been thinking of a change for a while and as cliché as it sounds, life is too short to keep putting off the things you want to do and so I gave up what I had known for 19 years and just went for it”

Becci wanted to put her love for numbers and for helping people together and so becoming a Mortgage and Protection Advisor was the perfect solution. Having been an advisor for a while, Becci came across The Mortgage Mum and after speaking with Ali, Karen, Jamie and Sally she just knew that this was where she was supposed to be. The support along with the flexibility was perfect to be able to do the best job she could for her clients around her family.

“Some may think that the two industries are worlds apart but actually, they have many similarities. No matter which industry I am in my clients are the most important thing to me and I just love being a part of and supporting them through some of the biggest decisions in their lives! Becci is based in Aylesbury with her partner and their three children and when not at work you will find her either at the side of a football or rugby pitch watching her sons or at cheerleading with her daughter. Becci and her family also have two boxer dogs called Luna and Bella as well as a snake called Apollo and a tortoise called Tina.
