About Sarah Tucker and The Mortgage Mum 

The Mortgage Mum was founded by Sarah Tucker in 2018 and is now an award-winning UK mortgage broker firm, receiving accolades of Best Firm in the East of England, Best New Broker, Business Leader of the Year, Best Newcomer, Mortgage Broker of the Year and Best Individual Broker (for Sonya Matharu) at the Mortgage Introducer Awards, SFI Awards 2021, Lending Awards 2021 and the Natwest Local Hero Mortgage Awards 2022.

Sarah Tucker is an established public figure within the UK mortgage industry, writing as a Money Expert for The Sun, and providing regular commentary on industry news, including Mortgage Strategy, Mortgage Solutions and Mortgage Introducer. Sarah is frequently appearing as a guest speaker and industry expert on a number of panels, articles and podcasts including FSE Week 2021 and is host of The Mortgage Mum Podcast, recently voted as one of the top 10 Mortgage podcasts in the UK.

As founder of The Mortgage Mum, Sarah appeared on the 2019 ITV series of The Voice UK, making it through to the live finals with superstar Jennifer Hudson as her mentor. Since being a finalist on the prime-time television show, her profile on social media and within the mortgage industry grew and The Mortgage Mum went from strength to strength, now hosting a nationwide team of over 30 women under Sarah’s management and guidance.

The Mortgage Mum is a business model aimed at encouraging women across the UK to become mortgage and protection advisers by allowing them to work remotely and flexibly around family life, providing a much needed shift in a previously male-dominated industry. The company promotes a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space for women working in the mortgage and protection industries, with wellbeing, compassion and flexible working at the heart of its culture.
