The Mortgage Mum is delighted to announce that they are launching into the Specialist Finance space, with the creation of their brand-new Sister company, The Mortgage Mum Specialist Finance, an Approved Representative of New Leaf Distribution.
The team will deal with development finance, commercial buy to let, short term bridging finance, complex buy to let and adverse credit as well as being able to access other finance for businesses and individuals that are considered high net worth. Whether supporting people to play out their self-build property dream, grow their portfolio, up level their business or enable a multi-million pound housing site, The Mortgage Mum Specialist Finance will be on hand to help.
With a focus on aspirational investors and providing educational content in line with their main brand, The Mortgage Mum feel they can offer a unique, and much needed service in this growing sector of the market.
With the recent expansion of The Mortgage Mum brand extending to National television and radio, combined with their offering of a Nationwide team of female brokers, they have noticed more and more requests from clients across the UK expressing that they would love this service to be offered in-house.
Sarah Tucker, founder of The Mortgage Mum said “We have noticed aspirational investors and experienced developers coming to us, looking for our company to nurture them through the process. The division will be led by Shelley Walker, who has been appointed as Director of Specialist Finance alongside her Senior Mortgage Broker title. Shelley was one of the founding members of The Mortgage Mum in its launch in 2019 and has been at the centre of the company’s growth and meteoric rise. She has a rapidly expanding client base, particularly in the specialist sector, and has developed close relationships that made her the ideal woman to take this division forward. “We’ve always known Shelley would be the one to do this when the time was right, and she’s already providing herself to be brilliant!” Sarah and Jamie said.
Shelley said, “I’m so excited about this and it feels like now is the right time! Many female clients have been approaching us recently, openly looking for other inspirational women in the development space, and they haven’t found many.
