Laura Bull

After working in a high street bank for 19 years Laura was ready to make a change and take on a new challenge with The Mortgage Mum. Whilst working she completed her CeMAP exams in 2007 and was one of the youngest qualified mortgage advisors at the time. Laura not only advised on mortgages and protection but also took on supervisory roles. Laura wanted to get back to what makes her happy and the feeling of job satisfaction when being with customers and helping them with the purchase of the biggest commitment they would make. When Laura became redundant within the bank, she knew it was an opportunity to reignite her passion and work more flexibly for her family.

‘Whilst exploring what the next chapter of my life would be I reflected on how much I enjoyed the joy of advising and helping dreams become a reality but also needed something that would give me the ability to spend more time with my family, I have a son who has medical needs and being able to work around his needs was also important for me. The Mortgage Mum strikes the right chord – balance for my family but also the opportunity to help make a first-time buyer’s dream come true, supporting a mover or the dream of a second home. I have a strong work ethic and passionate on finding the best solutions for my customers’.

When Laura isn’t helping customers, she likes to be in the outdoors, either helping her daughter with her pony or walking the family dog Chewy. Laura is a terrific cook and likes to spoil her friends and family with her recipes.
