At the age of 38 and only ever having three jobs it’s taken me a while to join The Mortgage Mum. My last job was working as a Mortgage Adviser for a small, friendly firm, however, I felt I wanted to grow more within the industry.

I still wanted the flexibility I had working from home with no specific time restraints which allows me to have a happy work/family balance. Having two children with hectic lifestyles flexibility is key.

I had followed The Mortgage Mum on social media for a while before I reached out. I thought they would be a good fit for me. I was looking for a company which would be supportive, encouraging and offer new opportunities.

“I absolutely love helping people realise their dreams, I specifically like guiding First Time Buyers through such a big important stage in their life when they sometimes think it’s impossible. I’m always available at the end of the phone, email or WhatsApp even late in the evenings just to offer reassurance.

In my spare time I’m either taking my daughter out on her pony or taking my son to cycle training or races  – as a family we have cycled across the country three times!!!
