While on maternity leave with her third child Lisa appreciated being at home more and being able to take her older children to school. She had been anxious to take the jump from a successful career as a manager, but fortunately there was an opportunity to take redundancy and with the support of her husband she grabbed it with both hands.
She wanted a meaningful career that would enable her to have some flexibility and to be there for her family.
The vision of being able to take her children to school and a new challenge became her determination as she studied CeMAP. She has never been more determined to do anything and during the 2nd lockdown in between home schooling, nap time and bed time she passed CeMAP with distinction, and was delighted.
“When I first enrolled with The London Institute of Banking and Finance I was reading some content about the mortgage industry and I came across Sarah and The Mortgage Mum. It struck a cord with me- that was exactly the vision that I had for myself. I followed Sarah and the team on social media. It inspired and further motivated me to get qualified. I wanted to be part of this inspiring flexible working environment and community of women supporting one another.
I am so delighted to join this exceptional team, enhancing and driving forward a brand that is a natural extension of my own beliefs.
I always want the best for people and this is a supportive role assisting individuals and couples at one of the most important times in their lives. First home, dream home, forever home. I will do everything to ensure that I simplify mortgages so clients come away feeling educated, inspired and confident.
In her free time Lisa enjoys the simple things in life. Spending time with her family and friends, dining out and going for walks. Whenever she gets the opportunity she loves going on mini breaks and appreciates a change of scenery, fun activities with her children and enjoys a cocktail and dinner in the evening.
